Miscellaneous Shite:

Again it's been a while so I had to toss something up here...

September and the kids are all back at school. Now that everyone is getting back into their routines we should toss out a date to get together for a few coldies.

Jake is 9 months away and Doc & Rosco have stepped up to do the honors for Jake #19. It's their job to do something that will be memorable. After all Jake #20 will be so super-spectacular, who will be remembering #19??

Oh well as long as I'm not doing it that's fine by me.

The Mt. Hood Golf League (3 Jakers - 4 if you count D.D.) will be having our end of the year outing on Saturday the 12th. Should be a fun time.

I know this isn't riveting stuff so maybe I'll put up some miscellaneous pictures for your enjoyment.

JAKE R.I.P.

While the boys were recently in M.V. they inquired as to the whereabouts of Jake. He was last seen at a local establishment. It pains me in a very profound way to report that Jake was "tossed in a scrap heap" during a minor renovation.

The last known picture of Jake remains this one - unless someone comes up with one later than that.

There is talk of getting another one but will it really be the same as the original?

Apart of all of us went with him gentlemen. Maybe I'm being sensational and unnecessarily fantastic but then again maybe I'm not...

We can go on gentlemen, we can and we must...

Another Jaker Crosses The Threshold:

Shout out to Lt. Stalkfleet who turns 40 today. He's one of the young-ins of the group and one of the lasts to sucessfully navigate himself to mid-life...

This picture was taken at Jake #18 (2009) on the 9th tee where all participants were required to have a shot of Old Grand Dad and take off their shoes.
