Toasting The Squirrel’s Nuptials (ouch):

Bomb was dropped recently that Squirrel popped the question to his lady friend.  This marks a turning point to in the lives of all Jake members.

The day that Heff was the last Jake member to be single (marrying your golf clubs does not count).

I will leave you with an interaction between the great Cosmo Kramer and George Costanza:
Kramer: (disgusted) Look at you.
George: Aw, Kramer, don’t start.
Kramer: You’re wasting your life.
George: I am not! What you call wasting, I call living! I’m living my life.
Kramer: Okay, like what? No, tell me! Do you have a job?
George: No.
Kramer: You got money?
George: No.
Kramer: Do you have a woman?
George: No.
Kramer: Do you have any prospects?
George: No.
Kramer: Do you have any action at all?
George: No.
Kramer: Do you have any conceivable reason for even getting up in the morning?
George: I like to get the Daily News.

Ashley Noelle - The Littlest Hub!

Sorry for the major delay but...
Congratulations are in order for Hub and his family!

I don't know all the particulars but we think she was born on 12/13/08 and her name is Ashley Noelle. I have updated the Jake Birthdays & Anniversaries link appropriately.

Attaway Hub! That's 3 girls and a wife! Good luck getting in the bathroom bro.

Christmas is coming fast and furious - can't stop it...

Happy Thanksgiving 2008:

Those in attendance last night at our annual "Wednesday before Thanksgiving night out" (with founding members listed first) were Stubby, Dancer, Rosco, Chag, Hub, Heff & Cool Chief.

Can't say enough about the enjoyable conversation at the Chapeau and the fantastic Italian food for dinner.

Just a couple of things I would change:
Aroma emanating from the (men's) bathroom.
Brussel Sprouts in the antipasto.
The fact that Dancer and I know the head chef but he wasn't working that night.

Absolute Keepers:
Veal (so good it was stupid)
Red Wine (thanks to Hub)
Red sause for the pasta etc.
The help.

Always fun and eventful.

Hub is only 9 days from the due date of his #3. Good luck to you and the wife brother. Hope things go better than Stubby's "experience".

Happy Thanksgiving to all Jakers and their families.

11/26/08

Just a reminder that the Jakers are heading out for our traditional
"Wednesday Before Thanksgiving Extravaganza"

Perhaps meeting at the Chapeau for a couple of 'looseners' and making the jaunt to a local Eye-talian joint we know about.

Hope all Jakers can attend (well maybe not all - but I'm sure you're getting the sentiment)...

Jones-in':

It's been a while since we've all got together for cards so we're trying to get one together soon at Heffer's abode.

He hasn't been told of this as yet but all in good time my brothers.

Don't forget about the annual Wednesday before Thanksgiving night out which is coming up on November 26th.

Peace out yo.
