To The Wives!:

Here's a fun litte exchange between me and the Chag-stress the other night.

Chag-stress: "My cousin's coming over on June 19th to give me a massage."
(Editorial comment: the answer to the question you're asking yourself is, No, by the way.)

Chag: "Nice, hey - did you know that's the exact date of the very first Jake Day way back in 1992?"

Chag-stress: **blink** **blink** {{walking away to finish the dishes...}}

Chag: "Heh, heh fifteen years to the day - imagine that?"

Chag-stress (calmly): "Would you please just shut up?"

Well, I thought it was noteworthy...

TEAMS & 4-SOMES FOR THE 2007 JAKE SCRAMBLE:

Baring any major discrepancies from founding members of Jake, here are the teams and 4-somes for the 3rd Annual Jake Scramble.
BY TEAMS:
BY 4-SOMES:

Team #4 will not be elegible to play for the trophy.Scramble format for them is optional.

Again - on the 9 easiest holes - both teamates will be required to play at least one (1) shot and this shot cannot be an offical putt.

Guest of Jake 16:

Ladies & Gentlemen,
Our esteemed colleague and fellow founding member, Stubby Malone, has stepped forward and will be providing this year's "Incidental Participant" du le annum (that means 'of the year' - or at least it's in the vicinity).

His name is 'Joe' and his prior work involved advanced and emerging technologies with regard to navigational systems on U.S. nuclear submarines so he should fit right in. I, for one, will have lots to talk to him about, for instance I like the color green and I'm sure at least some parts of the submarines were green...

Here are a couple of old photographs of him from way back in his prior life.

I think the lighting was a bit off - he actually looks much younger nowadays I'm sure. Welcome Joe, if that is your real name - The Jake Boys await your impending arrival with open arms (metaphorically speaking of course).

A message to family members:

This is an actual saying on one of our refrigerator magnets.

"To know the love and companionship of a Jake member is one of life's joys"

(Okay, so I replaced the word 'pet' with 'Jake member' but you get the point).

The pairings are all but set for this years Jake Scramble and more excited, I could not be.
